Project Manager, Medical Device
Are you passionate about leading programs that bring new products to life and improve existing ones? At Hologic, we’re looking for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee cross-functional teams, manage risks, and deliver impactful solutions within budget and on schedule. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring flawless execution and effective collaboration across R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Quality. We are located in Newark, DE and open to a hybrid schedule, if commutable and will also consider remote opportunities.
Knowledge
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- New Product Introduction (NPI) Framework: Expertise in phase/gate processes for product development and commercialization.
- Project Management Fundamentals: Understanding of scheduling, risk management, and resource planning.
- Quality Management Systems: Familiarity with ISO and FDA regulations for medical device design and development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Knowledge of interdependencies between R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Quality functions.
- Continuous Improvement Practices: Awareness of tools, methodologies, and strategies for process enhancement.

Experience
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 5–8 years of experience in project management or related fields (reduced experience requirements for advanced degrees).
- Proven expertise in New Product Introductions (NPI) and phase/gate processes.
- Familiarity with ISO and FDA quality systems regulations, especially for medical device design and development cycles.
- Prior experience in new product development is a strong plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $94,000 - $146,900 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
